On September 5, 2010, Jana Marie (Philben) Dennison received the peace and joy of heaven, cancer, and pain-free. Jana was born in Rushville, NE on March 20, 1952, the daughter of Mike and Patricia Philben.

Jana lived a full and righteous life with Jesus as her
focus. Jana‘s family moved to Knoxville when she was a child. She graduated from
Knoxville High School in 1970. Jana was employed as a bookkeeper at The Farmers
Coop in Knoxville for 18 years.

Jana enjoyed the relationships she developed with
the farmers. She founded Dan-D Farm’s greenhouse and nursery, corn maze, and sweet
corn. She worked side by side with her best friend and husband, Dan. Jana cared
deeply about the relationships she developed through life’s journey. She enjoyed
a full house and everyone felt welcomed and loved in her home.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2010, beginning afternoon with the family present
from 6-8 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m.
on Wednesday, September 8, 2010, at the Dan-D Farms Corn Maze 6 miles south of Knoxville
on Hwy 14 with Bill Reisman & Sam Dye officiating. Burial will follow at Gosport

Jana will be missed by her loving husband of 37 years Dan; children Dee (Dave) McKenna
of Benton, KS; Doug (Emily) Dennison of Richmond, VA; Debra (Joe) Kearney of Knoxville,
IA; grandson, Tyler, and granddaughters, Bailey, Ashley, Addison, Natalie, Payton
and one more due in October; mother and step-father, Patricia and Pat Alessandra;
sisters, Peggy (PJ) Manning and Mary Jo (Don) Noftsger; brothers, Mike (Nan) Philben,
Danny (Sam) Philben and Kerry (Judy) Philben; sister-in-law, Pam Dennison; nieces Melissa, Lisa, Krista, Heidi, Erin, Becca, and Kristen; nephews Mark, Ross, Michael
L, Michael R, Nick, Josh, James; step-siblings, Lita, Patrice, Victor, and Mark Alessandra
and many friends that she considered family.

Preceding her in death are her father, Mike Philben, brothers, Jim and Greg Philben, mother-in-law and father-in-law, Bill
and Bereniece Dennison and brother-in-law, Don Dennison.

Jana specifically requested that you plant a tree rather than send flowers to her family. Memorial contributions
can be made to Christ’s Church of Knoxville.
