Services for Don Chambers, 66, of Knoxville, who died Oct. 22, 1984 at Knoxville Rest Home, were held Oct. 24 at Williams Funeral Home.
Interment was in Graceland Cemetery.
Rev. K. Wayne Hoehns officiated at the services. Music was provided by Darlene Mooberry, organist.
Pallbearers were Grant Core, Leo Dykstra, Woody Fisher, Frank Pearson, Glenn Robuck, and Richard Tonda.
Mr. Chambers was born on April 5, 1918 in Marion County, the son of Fred and Cleta Mart Chambers.
On July 9, 1945 he married Bonnie Jean Jones at the Little Brown Church near Nashua.
During all his active years, he was a farmer.
He was preceded in, death by his wife on June 28, 1984 and by his father.
He is survived by three sons, Tim and Brian, both of Knoxville, and Bruce of Melcher; one grand-daughter; his mother of Knoxville; one brother, Robert of W. Des Moines; and one sister, Mary Jo Wickliff of Knoxville.
