Services for Byrl Jay Reynolds, 54, of Knoxville, who died July 24, 1986, were held
July 28 at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home. Interment was in Graceland Cemetery. Rev.
William Travis officiated at the services.

Music was provided by James Kidder, organist.
Pallbearers were Chuck Galeazzi, Jude Garner, Ray Glover, Barney Sneller, Mike Filliman,
and John Wright. Honorary bearers were Dick Mitchell, Dick Bailey, Jerry Bullington,
Jim Mitchell, Shelly Cowman, Mick Dabb, J.C. Brubaker, Barney Stangl, Max Park,
Jim Bruinekool, Carl Schwanebeck, Steve Donnelly, Ron Livingston, Phil Stanley,
Brenton Trabert, and Moe Nichols.

Mr. Reynolds was born Oct. 19, 1931 in Knoxville,
the son of Corwin Jay and Maxine Joy Brady Reynolds. On June 24, 1956, he married
Reva Doolittle at Knoxville.

He was half owner of Strasburgers Clothing Store until
ill health forced his retirement and was a member of the First Christian Church,
the Knoxville Chamber of Commerce, and a National Guard member for 15 years.

He
was preceded in death by his father and his stepfather, Raymond Allen. He is survived
by his mother, Maxine Allen of Knoxville; one daughter, Mrs. John (Stephanie) Hlad
of England; one son, Barry of Knoxville; two grandchildren; and one brother, Ken
of Knoxville. A memorial has been established to the American Heart Association.
