Brenda Jo (Mecham) Fell, 54, died on May 11, 2006, at Mercy Hospital in Des Moines. Brenda
was born on March 24, 1952, in Chariton to Gale and Verna Presley Mecham.
She graduated from Knoxville High School in 1970.
She retired from the VA in Knoxville where she worked as a registered nurse and crisis counselor.
She was preceded in death by her father, Gale Mecham, and her two aunts, Leona Letts and Norma Poe.
Brenda is survived by her two daughters, Amanda (Casey) Gigler of Ames and Heather Fell;
her mother, Verna Mecham of Knoxville; her three sisters, Cindy (Jim) Etter, Anita (Roy) Allison of Knoxville, and Patricia (Mark) Orr of Ottumwa and two grandchildren.
Graveside services were held on May 16 at Gosport Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the family.
