Betty Lucille (Bruinekool) Dixon, age 72, of Pigeon, passed away at her home on Thursday, January 15, 1987.
Mrs. Dixon was born on January 27, 1914, in Chariton, IA, daughter of the late Herman Henry and Mary Jane (Wallace) Bruinekool.
On August 22, 1938, she was united in marriage to Ralph C. Dixon, M.D., at the Little Brown Church in the Vale in Nashua, IA. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Pigeon and the Worth While Club, Pigeon.
Mrs. Dixon is survived by her husband, Ralph C. Dixon, M.D. , Pigeon; two sons, Peter E. Dixon, M.D., St.
Helena, CA, and Michael R. Dixon, Alpena; two daughters, Barbara B. Dixon, Mt. Pleasant, and Louise A. Dixon, Evanston, IL; and five grandchildren.
Two brothers, Peter and Charles Bruinekool, preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, January 17 at the First United Methodist Church, Pigeon, at 3 p.m. Rev. Gordon W. Nusz, pastor, will officiate with burial in the Grand Lawn Cemetery, Pigeon.
