Beth Ann Todd was born October 9, 1955 in Oskaloosa, Iowa, the daughter of Keith
Todd and Lela (Kimler) Todd.
While in school, Beth was involved in the band, jazz
band and stage band. Following graduation with the Knoxville High School class of
1973, Beth moved to Pella and worked at Hy-Vee. She then moved back to Knoxville
and began working for the DOT in Des Moines where she remained for nearly 30 years
until her retirement in September 2006.
In her retirement, Beth kept busy volunteering
at the church, Marion County Historical Society, and also as a book keeper for KAMA.
Beth truly enjoyed spending time with her family. She and Lela loved to travel around
Iowa and enjoyed a very competitive game of cribbage or scrabble every evening.
Beth passed away on Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at the Knoxville Area Community Hospital
at the age of 54 years, 6 months and 11 days.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents
and her father.
Survivors include her mother, Lela Todd, brothers, Roger (Cindy)
Todd and Ray (Katie) Todd all of Knoxville; numerous nieces and nephews, along with
other relatives and many friends.
