Services for Bertie I. Wolf, 73, of Knoxville, who died Oct. 27, 1990, at Knoxville
Area Community Hospital, were held Oct. 30 at Evans-McCleery Funeral Home.
Interment
was in Graceland Cemetery. Pallbearers were Steve Lash, Stan Kimm, Ron Kimm, Frank
Lobel, Bill Wolf and Todd Kimm. Honorary pallbearers were Don Rodgers, Eric Rankin,
Mike Van Niewall, Dean Donahue, Pat Becker and Tom Van Baale.
Mrs. Wolf was born
on Sept. 20, 1917, in Pella, the daughter of Jim and Marie Ver Steeg Van Hemert.
She graduated from Knoxville High School in 1935.
She married Dale Wolf on Dec.
7, 1940, in Unionville, Mo. Mrs. Wolf retired from Pine Loan Company in Knoxville
after 40 years of service. She was also a member of the First United Methodist Church
in Knoxville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband
and one daughter, Susan Brown. She is survived by one sister, Faye Van Rees of Knoxville;
three grandchildren, Chad, Ryan and Jennifer.
