Memorial services for Anita Vercellion, 64 of San Diego, Calif., who died of Lou Gehrig's disease
on April 1986 at the home of her sister in Indianola, will be held on
April 12 at 3:00 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas church in Indianola.
Bybee and Davis Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. The body was donated to the University of Iowa Hospital.
Mrs. Vercellino was born in Marion county, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Vercellino.
She grew up in the Pershing area and graduated from Knoxville High School.
Most of her life was spent in the restaurant business in Chicago, Ill
The past few years she had been retired and made her home in San Diego.
She is survived by two sisters, Rena Chesi of Des Moines and Dorene
McConnell of Indianola, and many nieces and nephews.
