Natasha Marie Van Baale, 14, of Knoxville died Friday, April 30, 1999, at Knoxville Area Community Hospital of injuries sustained in an automobile crash.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at First United Methodist Church in Knoxville. Burial will be at Lincoln Cemetery in rural Marion County.

Natasha was born, Jul 21, 1984, in Fort Polk, La. She was a freshman at Knoxville High School and had previously attended East High School in Des Moines. She was a member of the County Crusaders 4-H Club in Knoxville.

She is survived by her mother and father, Lori Townsend of Knoxville and Michael Van Baale of Des Moines; her stepfather, Donald Townsend of Knoxville; a half sister, Elissa Haugh of Ames; her grandparents, Myrtle and Philip Simmons of Pleasantville and Mary Van Baale of Monroe; and two great-grandmothers, Margaret Van Baale of Monroe and Ruth Adams of Prairie City.

Friends may call after 11 a.m. today at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville, where the family will be present from 3 to 5 p.m.
