Funeral services for Ola Faye (Bennett) Siefken, 90, of Pleasantville, were held Jan. 31, 1990 at the Church of Christ in Pleasantville. Bybee and Davis Funeral Home were in charge of arrangements.
Rev. Russ Clark and Rev. John Bolen officiated at the services. Music was provided by organists Jim Hoffman and singers Nita Garrett md Rita Kurtz.
Casketbearers were Kelly Agan, lames Hoch. Bill Schrader. Maurice
Johnston, Wayne Anderson and Marvin Kain.
Interment was in Graceland Cemetery.
Ola Faye Siefken was born on July 23, 1899 in Marion County, the daughter of Miles Elvin and Lillian Beaman Bennett. Faye was united in marriage to Adam H. Siefken on Dec. 21, 1924 and the couple made their home in Des Moines until moving to a farm west of Dallas in 1940. They moved to Knoxville in 1945. She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She graduated from Knoxville High School in 1918 and taught school for several years prior to her marriage.
Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Adam on July 12, 1975 and a brother, Edwin in infancy. She is survived by her two daughters, Norma Luther of Pleasantville and Merilyn Sills of Knoxville, one son, Adam of Siefken of Baytown, Tex., ten grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren.
Memorials have been designated to the family.
