Dennis “Denny” Lee McDonald, age 71, of Indianola, Iowa, formerly of Knoxville, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at his residence in Indianola.
Denny was born on July 30, 1947.
Denny’s wishes were to be cremated.
A visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 22, 2019, at the Winfield Funeral Home of Knoxville, beginning at 2:00 P.M. Denny’s family will be present to greet friends and relatives from 6:00 P.M. – 8:00 P.M.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, January 23, 2019, at 11:00 A.M. at the Winfield Funeral Home. Military honors will be held, following services. A luncheon will take place at the American Legion in Knoxville, following military honors.
Burial at Greenwood Cemetery will be held at a later date.
Those left to cherish Denny’s memory include his wife, Colleen; children, Melissa (Kyle) Van Zante, and their children, Stephanie, Zach, Marissa, and Justin; Kenny (Jill) Agan, and their children, Olivia, Ella, and Sammy; Curt (Kelita) Agan, and their son, Daniel; and Wendi (Patrick) Reeves, and their children, Ty and Sophia; one brother, Steve (Donna) McDonald; and sister-in-law, Nancy McDonald.
Memorials may be given in Denny’s memory to Unity Point Hospice, and the American Legion of your choice.
