Barbara Jean (Glover) Marvelli of Knoxville passed away on Saturday January 21, 2012, at
the Hospice comfort House in Pella. She was born to Coy and Barbara Grace (Wilson)
Glover.

Barbara's profession was a hotel manager for over 10 years in the Knoxville community.
She was a lifelong member of the Church of God and entertained many denominations
of churches with her singing; she enjoyed antiques, was an avid collector and frequently
published poems in the Knoxville Journal.

Barbara was a very giving person. She
adopted and cleaned on her daily walk two miles of “Old Highway 92”; she was always
fashionable, forever young at heart and with an eternal smile.

Barbara is survived by her children Rick Marvelli of Knoxville, Freddie Gene (Ann)
Marvelli of Norwalk, Lisa Kay (Stephen) Welch of Clive, Rockie Lee Marvelli and
Gina Marie Robinson both of Knoxville; 10 grandchildren Levi, Adeline, Aimme, Travis,
Logan, Kiley, Cassidy, Cody, Jordyn, and Brandon; and one great grandchild Abrielle.
Barbara is also survived by her sister Beatrice Kay (Fred) Mick of Pella.

She is preceded in death by her parents Coy and Barbara Grace; her sister Betty
Burns and her brother J.C. Glover. Barbara is also preceded by her granddaughter
Leah Grace

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 A.M. Wednesday, January 25, 2012 at the
First United Methodist Church in Knoxville with Rev. Raymond Bettis and Rev. Lane
Riggle officiating. A private family burial will follow the luncheon at Greenwood Cemetery also of Knoxville.

Visitation for Barb will be held from 2:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M., Tuesday at the
Winfield Funeral Home in Knoxville. Barb’s family will be present from 6 to 8:00
P.M. Tuesday evening.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the Knoxville Church of God. Condolences
