Ronald Henry Frazier, age 57, of Knoxville, passed away from a courageous battle with cancer Tuesday, July 2, 2013, at the Knoxville Hospital and Clinics of Knoxville, Iowa.

Ron was born in Knoxville on February 11, 1956, the son of Fred and Helen Marie (Mavin) Frazier, Jr. Ron lived in Knoxville all his life. He was a graduate of Knoxville High School, Class of 1974.

During high school, Ron worked for Darnell’s DX. On May 19, 1975, Ron began working for 3M Company, he was the 19th employee. Ron worked for 3M for 36 years, retiring in July 2011.

On January 26, 1974, Ron and Rosemary Momyer were united in marriage. Ron and Rosemary shared over 39 years of marriage and were blessed with three children: Christopher, Stacy, and Abby.

Ron enjoyed life and sports. He liked playing softball, bowling, and volleyball. Ron’s greatest enjoyments were golfing, and being with his grandchildren.

Ron is survived by his wife Rosemary Frazier of Knoxville; his children: Christopher Frazier of Denver, CO, Stacy (Steven II) Bellon of Knoxville, and Abby (Dean) Kirstein of Clarion, IA; six grandchildren: Chase, Jax, and Kade Bellon, Cale, Claire, and Alivia Kirstein.

Ron is also survived by his mother Helen Frazier of Knoxville; his sister Lisa (Mike) Figland of Knoxville; and his mother-in-law Frances Momyer of Knoxville.

He was preceded in death by his father Fred Frazier, Jr; his brother Rusty Frazier; and his father-in-law Robert Momyer.

Ron’s family will be greeting friends from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday, July 5, 2013, at the Celebrate Community Church in Knoxville.

A celebration of life services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 6th also at the Celebrate Community Church of Knoxville, with Bill LaHue and Judd Nelson officiating. A private family burial will be held at the Gullion Cemetery.
