A graveside service was held for Marvin “Hub” Wooldridge, 69, of
Knoxville, who died on July 7, 2013, at Westridge Manor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, per his wishes has been cremated.

Marvin was born on August 3, 1944, in Marion County, to Verda (Davis) and Dale Wooldridge. He was one of 16 children in the family. He attended Knoxville High School.

Hub lived his entire life in Marion County. He did construction work until a back injury caused him to be disabled.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sandra, four sisters, Betty Lucille, Wanda Sellers, Bonnie Schrader, and JoAnn Camerson; and five brothers, Junie, Robert, and Raymond Dale, Bill, and Edward Lee.

He is survived by one daughter, Dawn Brainard, and two sons,
Dan and Darick Wooldridge, four brothers, Charles Wooldridge of Knoxville, Danny Wooldridge, Sr. of Knoxville, Jack Wooldridge of Knoxville, Donald Wooldridge of Harvey; two sisters, Jane Bales of Knoxville, Mary Pregon of Pershing; and a long time friend Pat Brown, as well as other relatives and friends.
