Born November 1, 1944, in Des Moines, IA, passed peacefully on July 12, 2023, in Sparks, NV.
Judy attended KHS Class of 1963, she spent most of her young life in Knoxville, IA where she had many friends.
She then relocated to Phoenix, AZ before moving back to Norwalk, IA, and finally to Sparks, NV with her daughter.
She is preceded in death by her parents Harold and Willa Carpenter and is survived by her Daughter Teri Miller, Grandson Tyler Miller, Husband Norm Metcalf, and Sister Karen Archer.
At Judy’s request, no public visitation or services will take place.
In her honor and to commemorate her love for her pets, the family requests, in lieu of flowers, to consider donating in memory of Judy, to the Community Foundation of Northern Nevada to benefit dog rescue organizations within the state of Iowa.
