Twinalyn Ann “Twink” (Bailey) Clark was born December 19, 1945, in Marion County Iowa, and entered into rest on March 25, 1988, in Des Moines, Iowa.
Services were held at Mason Funeral Home in Pleasantville, Iowa on Monday, March 28 at 1:30 PM.
Officiating was Rev. K. Wayne Hoehns. Music was provided by Mildred Brooks, an organist who played: How Great Thou Art”.
The final resting place was Pleasantville Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Richard Heaberlin, Gary Mosher, Benny Mott, Larry Cummings, Cliff Danner, and Tom Nichols.
She had been ill with cancer since June of 1987. Twinalyn was born on December 19, 1945, in Marion County, Iowa the daughter of Thomas Amos and Arlene Jones Bailey.
She graduated from Knoxville High School in the Class of 1964.
Following graduation, she worked for Cole Studio and was employed in the Marion County Court House. She was a school bus driver for the Pleasantville Schools until her illness and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was united in marriage to Phillip Clark on January 24, 1978, in Omaha, Nebraska, and the couple always made their home on a farm in the Pinchy Neighborhood near Pleasantville.
Preceding her in death were her daughter, Tracy; her maternal grandparents, and her paternal grandfather.
Surviving is her husband, Phillip; five sons, Chad and Ty at home, Curt of Grinnell, Trevor of Ft. Dodge, and Shawn of Denver, Co. Two daughters, Jennifer at home and Angel of Pleasantville.
Also, surviving are her parents Thomas and Arlene Bailey of Knoxville; three sisters, Alonna Bamett and Tomma Lou Sullivan, both of Knoxville, Jennifer Bailey of Des Moines; one brother, Thomas A. Bailey Jr. of Knoxville and her grandmother Gladys Bailey of Knoxville.
