Services for Wilma (Maddy) Poague – Condra, 76, of St. Paul, Minn. formerly of Knoxville, who passed away Jan. 20, 1991 at her home, were held Jan. 26, at Evans-McCleery Funeral
Home. The interment was in Olive Chapel Cemetery near Columbia.

Wilma was born on July 20, 1914, in Marion County, the daughter of Walter and Jennie
Smith Maddy. She attended country schools in Marion County and graduated from Knoxville
High School.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Denzil; and two
brothers: Harold and Gordon and one sister; Cleo Dooley.

She is survived by two sons: Gary L. Poague of St. Paul and Randy Poague of Maple
Grove, Minn.; one daughter, Susan Quarberg of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; three step-daughters:
Jenna Glenn and Myrtle Molyneaux, both of Knoxville, and Helen Delaney of Colorado
Springs, Colo.; one brother, Marvin Maddy of Albuquerque, New Mexico; three sisters:
Wanda Olmutz of Canton, Ohio, Maxine Zoutte of Knoxville, and Marlene Naylor of Des
Moines; twelve grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and many other relatives
and friends.

She taught in the country schools for several years but spent most of her time as
a mother and a homemaker. She lived in the Knoxville area until 1975 when she moved
to St. Paul to be closer to her children. She was a member of the Olive Chapel Methodist
Church.

Rev. Dale Reisner officiated at the service. Music was provided by Merrill Womach.
