Funeral services for Wayne William Hayes, who died April 8, 1963 at the Boone County Hospital were held from the Bybee & Davis funeral home, Knoxville, April 10 with Rev. Carl E. Wilson officiating.
Burial was in Graceland cemetery.

Paulbearers were Burris Goff, Bill Harvey, Wayne Sutherland, D.A. Glenn, John Brooks and Marvin Flanders.
Mrs. Laviania Crozier, soloist was accompanied by Mrs. Loias
Anderson, organist.

William Wayne, son of William S. and Mary Randol Hayes was born in Knoxville Sept. 26, 1907.
Except for those years in California and one year in Michigan, he spent his entire life in Iowa.

For the past 32 years he has been employed at C.L. Pine Loan Co.
July 1, 1927, he was united in marriage to Irene Bellamy and to this union two children were born.

He was a member of the First Methodist church. He was editor of the Iowa Travel Trailer Bulletin.

Surviving are his wife, Irene, daughter, Carolyn and son, Mark and a brother, Robert of Denver, Colo.
