Warren Clinton Whaley was born on May 29, 1919, west of Harvey to John L. Whaley
and Fern (Dixon) Whaley.

He attended country schools, graduating from Knoxville
High School with the Class of 1937. He was employed by several businesses in the
Knoxville area including, C.L. Pine Loan Company and Bane Chevrolet. He retired
from Goff & Nash Auto Parts.

Following retirement, Warren did small engine repair
and operated a mowing service. In his spare time, Warren enjoyed watching sports.

He passed away on April 4, 2007, at Park Lane Village at the age of 87. He was preceded
in death by his parents and a brother, Jack.

Survivors include three sisters, Frances
(Robert) Smith of Hartford, Martha (Max) Hyde of Fullerton, Calif. and Betty Clark
of Des Moines; one brother, Robert (Richie) Whaley of Nashville, Tenn. and many
other family members and friends.

Memorial services were held at Park Lane Village
on April 7 with Pastor Charlie McMillian officiating. The body has been crenated and burial will be in Graceland Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials may be made
to Hospice of Central Iowa or to the Park Lane Village Activity Fund.
