Vera Lynn (Pearson) Jacques was born December 1, 1953 in Flagstaff, Arizona the daughter of Henry Clay Pearson and Ellen Florence (Rogers) Pearson.
As a girl, Vera’s family moved to Knoxville, where she graduated from high school.
She then attended beauty school. Vera worked as a beauty operator for several years. She also worked for A.P.A.C., and KFC, and did construction work until retiring a year and a half ago.
Vera passed away on Thursday, October 30, 2008, at her home at the age of 54 years, 10 months, and 29 days.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Orrin and Lloyd.
She is survived by her daughter, Chelsea Jacques of Des Moines, granddaughter, Tiara Rose Jacques; two sisters, Roxanna Pearson of Knoxville and Pauletta Pearson of Ft. Collins, Colorado and two brothers, Dan Pearson of Knoxville and Henry Pearson and many other family members and friends.
