Vance Michael Snodgrass, 27, was killed Wednesday evening, May 3, 1978 when the 1970 Volkswagen
auto he was driving hit broadside a pickup truck at, the junction of Highway 14 and County road G76 two-and-a-half miles north of Columbia.

Vance is survived by his wife, Mary Jo, two sons Paul and Jeremiah, and a daughter, Sarah. The family lives south of Columbia.

Surviving also are his mother, Jeanette Snodgrass, Knoxville,
and his grandmother, Lydia Snodgrass, three brothers, Guy, Knoxville, and Ted and
Joe, Glendale, Cal., and a sister, Ginger, Knoxville. He was preceded In death by his father.

Funeral services were held at the Bybee and Davis Funeral Home, Knoxville,
Saturday – May 8, at 1:30.
