Todd C. Myers was born June 7, 1963, in Centerville, Iowa the son of Dr. Richard “Mick” Myers and Marjorie (Van Driele) Myers.

Todd was raised as the youngest of three brothers in Knoxville. He graduated with the Class of 1981 and then attended NIACC where he earned an associate’s degree.

On February 4, 1984, he was united in marriage to Teresa Jahner. He went to work as a lineman, a lifelong job he loved, for his in-laws at JB Construction. Then he worked at S.C.C., and for the last 21 years, he has worked for Mid-American Energy.

In his spare time, Todd enjoyed tennis; golfing with Marty Wadle, and “going to the shop” at Mike DeVos’ home. He loved Teresa’s spaghetti and meatballs, reading Tom Clancy books, and watching NCIS. He was an avid Hawkeye and Steeler fan.

Todd had a great sense of humor and was known to prank family and friends. He could fix anything and enjoyed tinkering on different projects.

He loved his grandson, Olsen, and looked forward to watching him grow and learn to play sports. He was already teaching him his golf swing and throwing a ball. He will be remembered as a loving husband, father, grandfather, and son.

Todd passed away Saturday, January 22, 2022, at his home, in Knoxville, at the age of 58 years.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mick, and brother, Kevin.

Those left to cherish Todd’s memory include his wife, Teresa; son, Ben (Sara) Myers; daughter, Katy Myers; grandson, Olsen Myers; mother, Marjorie Myers; brother, Brad Myers; special nephew, Josh (Aurora) Myers, and their children, Eve and Josiah and many other family members and friends.
