Timothy James Raney was born April 17, 1961, in Iowa City, Iowa the son of Bobby and Joan (Cruiz) Raney.
Following high school, Tim worked in various factories. Tim was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. He greeted everyone as a friend, with a ready smile, whether he knew them or not.
He was a hardworking man who took all of life’s challenges head-on.
Tim passed away on Saturday, December 7, 2019.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Mike and Billy.
He is survived by his wife, Marita Kay; son, Jacob;
grandchildren: Justine, Robert, Rhianna, Bryson, Jacob, Jr., and Zialee; his siblings: Johnny Raney, Laurie Fanning, and Patti Foster and many other family members and friends.
A memorial service for Tim Raney age 58 of Knoxville will be held on Friday, December 27, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. at the Riverside Church in Knoxville.
