Funeral services for Theodore Melvin Blexrud, 24, who died Feb. 16, 1970, were held Feb. 18 from Williams Funeral home with Rev. James Dendler officiating.

Burial was in Graceland cemetery. Casketbearers were Adrian Zoutte, Robert Poston, Richard Poston, Dwayne Robuck, James Worthington, and Danny Kain. Mrs. Helen Sutherland, organist accompanied Mrs. Mabel Briggs and Ray Briggs. The Flower committee was Mrs. Jeanne Edwards and Mrs. Dorotha Buttrey.

Theodore Melvin, son of Theodore and Vivian Johnson Blexrud, was born on Oct. 28, 1945, in Knoxville.

Upon graduation from Knoxville high school, He had served in the U. S. Air Force, his service record included 18 months in the Philippine Islands, receiving a discharge in October 1969.

Blexrud, a native of Knoxville, was electrocuted in an accident at Adel, Monday, where he was employed by an elevator contractor as a construction worker., at the time of his death.

Surviving is his mother, Mrs. Vivian Blexrud, Knoxville; sister, Mrs. Eugene (Rae) James, Chariton; and grandfather, A. V. Johnson, of Houston, Texas.
