Funeral services for Tami D. Long Conrad, 32, of Knoxville, who died December 25,
at her home, were held December 29, 1995, at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home in Knoxville.
Burial was at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.

The Rev. Ken MacLeod officiated at
the services. Music was provided by Mildred Brooks, organist, and Stephanie Young,
soloist. Pallbearers were Denny Butz, Larry Kline, John Brown, Jerry DeMoss, Rick
McCarty and John Kamerick.

Tami was born November 23, 1963, in Knoxville, the daughter
of Roy and Patricia K. Blom Long. She attended Knoxville schools and graduated in
1982. She attended Indian Hills Community College, in Ottumwa, where she earned
an Associates Degree in Nursing.

She was employed as staff nurse at Pella Community
Hospital and Knoxville Area Community Hospital, and Pella Corporation, as an industrial
nurse. She had served as director of nursing at several area nursing homes. She
was an energetic, caring nurse who touched many hearts.

At the time of her death,
she was employed as the office manager for Conrad Law Firm. She was preceded in
death by her maternal and paternal grandparents. She is survived by her mother,
Pat Long of Lovilia; her father, Roy Long of Knoxville; her husband, Robert Conrad
of Knoxville; two sons, Josh, and Kris Curry of Oskaloosa; two sisters, Debbie Davis
of Knoxville, and Kathy Eysink of Pella; and a brother, Brad Long of Huntington,
Ind.

Memorials may be made to a trust fund for Josh and Kris. Arrangements were
made by Bybee and Davis Funeral Home in Knoxville.

Tami died of a gunshot wound Monday at home.
The death is under investigation as an apparent suicide.
