Sue Ann Core, age 75, passed away on August 20, 2015, in Dallas, Texas.
Known to family and friends as Suzy, she was born in Knoxville, Iowa, and grew up there, graduating from Knoxville High School in 1957. She worked as a secretary before moving to Dallas in 1978, where she became a legal secretary and worked in the legal profession for many years.
She had a deep love for God and the Bible. She was self-educated and knowledgeable on many subjects, such as religion, ancient and modern history, including military history.
She was also extremely creative and sewed, made jewelry, and did many other crafts. She had a beautiful smile and an infectious laugh and made friends wherever she went.
Suzy was preceded in death by her mother, Ethelyn Elizabeth Reynolds Core, her father, Forest Earl Core, and her sister, Sally Core.
She is survived by her brothers David Core (Nancy), Dennis Core (Pam), her nephews Brian Safris (Claudia) and Mike Safris, as well as close cousins Ronald Core (Jan), 
Richard Core (Judy), and Nancy Underwood (Ben), and a number of other cousins. She is also survived by her adopted family, James, Cathy, Jim, and Deborah Spangler.
She lived a good life and was much loved. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Suzy’s name to the Alzheimer’s Foundation or to another charity of choice.
