Return to Class of 1974

Steve Hall09/05/2013
Steven Hall passed away on Sept. 5, 2013. Steve was born at the U.S. Naval Hospital in Great Lakes, Ill., on Feb. 15, 1956, the son of Homer and Barbara (Stuart) Hall.

Steve grew up on the family farm and enjoyed working with his hands all his life. He could modify and tinker with any store-bought product to suit his specific needs, a trait undoubtedly learned from his father.

Steve graduated from Knoxville High School in 1974 . He married Maurine McCorkle in 1976 and they were blessed with 3 children, Eric, Lisa & Alex.

Steve owned and operated Steve’s Sales and Service, was employed at C&C Cycle as a motorcycle mechanic and was also employed by Marion County.

On July 3, 2000, Steve was united in marriage to Coral and together with her daughter Lacy, lived in Norman, Okla., for 12 years.

Steve worked for Fowler Productions and later flipped houses.

Throughout his courageous fight against Leukemia, Steve cared about others before he worried about himself. He enjoyed time spent with family, volunteering at church, and was an avid OU football fan.

Steve will be dearly missed and survived by his wife Coral, children Eric (Amber) Hall, Lisa (Mike) Willis, Alex Hall and Lacy (Cristian) Garcia; grandchildren Chloe, Garret, Connor,
Camryn and a grandson due to arrive in December; parents Homer and Barbara Hall; sister Connie (Jeff) Beebout and family and sister Sandy (David) Beebout and family. Steve was blessed to have the support not only of his family, but a host of friends as well.

Please join us in celebrating his life at Living Word Fellowship’s Jenkins Center (318 E. Main St Knoxville) on Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, from 4-8 p.m.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Steven Keith Hall Memorial at MD Anderson Cancer Center. Envelopes will be provided at the memorial service.
