Funeral services for Sonja L. South, 80, of Knoxville will be Thursday, November 9, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Knoxville.
Interment will follow at the Greenwood Cemetery.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 8th, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Knoxville.
Memorials may be made in the care of her family and will be designated at a later date.
Sonja passed away Sunday, November 5, 2023, surrounded by her family. She will be greatly missed by her children: Suzie (Frank) Whitehead, Bill South, Larry South, Asa South, and Krystle South; many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with siblings: Dixie Donaldson, Harold Marshall, Charlie Marshall, Ron Marshall, Connie Hunt, Keith Marshall, Kenny Marshall, and Tom Marshall; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Preceded in death by her parents: Asa and Ellen Marshall; and siblings: Billy Bob Marshall, Asa Marshall, Richard Marshall, and Russell Marshall.
