Funeral services for Shirley Ann (VandeKamp) Hull of Knox-ville were held on Friday, July 31, 2009 at the Bybee & Davis Funeral Home with Pastor Charlie McMillian, officiating. Burial followed in Graceland Cemetery.

Those serving as casket bearers included, Jayme McLaren, Rick Heck, Russ Heck, Jay Caley, Jeremy Angove and Richard Heck. Shirley Ann Hull was born May 8, 1934 in Knoxville, Iowa, the daughter of Clarence VandeKamp and Velta Mae (Burt) VandeKamp.

She was born and raised in the Knoxville area. Shirley worked at the Knoxville V.A. for over 20 years until she was forced into retirement due to health concerns. Shirley loved the C.B. radio and went by the handle of "Pedal Pushers".

Shirley passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2009 at the Knoxville Area Community Hospital at the age of 75 years, 2 months and 19 days.

She was preceded in death by her parents, twin sisters, Donna and Dixie, and a brother, John.

She is survived by her 3 sisters, Sheryl (Billie) Hunt of Knoxville, Sheila Heck of Melcher and Shelby Caley of Miltonville, KS, along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
