Services for Ruth O. (Flanders) Larson, 90, of Waterloo, who died Aug. 24, 1990 at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, were held Aug. 28 at Grace United Methodist Church in Waterloo. Kearns Funeral Home in Waterloo was in charge of arrangements.
Interment was in Graceland Cemetery, Knoxville.
Mrs. Larson was born Dec. 10, 1899 at Hamilton, the daughter of Marcellus D. and Eva Jane Jolliffe Flanders.
On June 11, 1922 at Knoxville, she married Herbert J. Larson.
She had taught school for four years in Marion County.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1988; her parents; three brothers; and four sisters.
She is survived by two sons, Herbert of Lakeview, Ark. and Jack of Anaheim, Calif.; one daughter, Martha Kuhlman of Pepin, Wis.; five grandchildren; and one brother, Phillip Flanders of Trout Lake, Mich.
