Roland “Rollie” Joseph Anderson, son of Joe and Maereena Anderson, was born Oct. 1, 1905, at Knoxville and attended the Knoxville schools and Drake University.
January 4, 1936, he was united in marriage to Roma DeWitt.
Rollie died at the home of his father-in-law John DeWitt, October 7 1961.
He is survived by his wife and one daughter, Martha Jane Roper, Artesia, Calif.; one sister, Ruth Thornton, South Gate, Calif.; a brother, Ray of Long Beach, Calif.; two half-sisters, Mrs. Dottie Amend and Mrs. Peggy Sidener both of California.
