Services for Robert Otis Reed, 56, Granada Hills, Cal., formerly of Knoxville, who died August 9, 1983, were held August 12 at St. Anthony’s Church. Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Interment was in Graceland Cemetery.
Rev. Theodore Hay officiated at the services. Music was proved by Linda Hileman, organist, and the Stephen Waters family.
Pallbearers were Dale Randol, Leo Isley, Cleo Cooney, Rob Conney, George Scott, and Gene Beaman.
Mr. Reed was born July 11, 1927, at Russell, the son of Floyd Myron and DoIlie Elizabeth Hampton Reed.
He was united in marriage to Datherine L. Rogers in Canoga Park, Cal. on March 29, 1969.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his stepson, Paul Ray Rogers.
He is survived by his wife Datherine and step-son, Don Rogers, both of Granada Hills, Cal.; five children, Jim of Knoxville, Dick of Columbia, John of Lacona, Mrs. Jack (Nancy) Kingrey and Rita Kay, both of Pella; one sister, Mrs. Wally (Dora) Thomas of Knoxville; and 16 grandchildren.
