Robert Eugene “Rob” Orr age 51, of Knoxville, passed away Sunday, July 19, 2015, in Knoxville.
A private family committal service has been held at Graceland Cemetery of Knoxville.
Rob was born September 30, 1963, in Knoxville, Iowa, to Gerald Lee and Roberta Marlene (Rankin) Orr. Rob was raised in Knoxville and attended Knoxville High School.
Rob had worked a variety of jobs around the area and one of his special talents was caregiving. For six years Rob cared for his brother Gary as he battled ALS. Rob also enjoyed gambling and spending time with his family and grandchildren.
Rob is survived by his children, Austin Orr of Des Moines, Alex and her husband Chris Frey of Madrid, Robbie Orr, Jr., Jordan Orr, Jenna Orr, and Jersey Orr; and three grandchildren, Kaleb, Addison, and Joseph Frey.
Rob is also survived by his Mother, Roberta Orr; and two sisters, Debbie Griener and Delaine and her husband Harlan Clark all of Knoxville.
Rob was preceded in death by his father, Gerald Orr; his daughter in infancy, Jessie Orr; and two brothers, Jeremy Orr in infancy and Gary Orr.
