Funeral services for Robert A. Cronkhite, who was born 1907 and died Dec. 27, 1967 were held Dec. 30 from Knoxville First Christian Church with Rev. William Travis officiating

Burial was in Graceland Cemetery Bybee & Davis funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers were W. A. Dainty, Frank Dainty, Forrest Bishop, Frank Mitchell, Harold Carpenter and Henry Willis. Mrs. Mary Ellen Hall was organist. Flower committee was Charles Still, Mabel Dainty and Gladys Bishop.

Robert A., son of Robert A. and Martha Moon, Cronkhite, was born Oct. 26, 1907 in Knoxville and spent, his entire life here. After graduation from high school, he began working at the VA Hospital and was employed there for 38 years.

He was married to Verna Rowley and to this union: one daughter was born.

He was married to Benita Zimmerman on Dec. 7, 1959.

His parents and one brother preceded him in death.

Surviving are his wife, Benita; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (Roberta) Marro of Ankura, Turkey; three step-sons, Ivan Zimmerman in Vietnam, Keith of Des Moines, and Howard of Altoona; two step-daughters, Mrs. Jack McCoy of Des Moines, and Mrs. Blaine Vriezelaar of Monroe; three grandchildren; 19 step-grandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Marie Villont of Knoxville.
