Memorial funeral services for Randolph Taylor Sinnard, 40, of Knoxville, who died Friday, June 30, 2000, were held Wednesday,
July 5 at the First United Methodist Church in Knoxville. Rev. Pete Peterson officiated at the service.
The music played was “Heart of Gold”, “Amazed”, and “Daddy’s Hands”. Linda Gehling was organist.
Interment was at the Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville.
Randy was born on June 15, 1960, in Oskaloosa, the son of Gene and Marilyn Miller Sinnard. He graduated from Knoxville High School in 1978.
Randy was a lifelong resident of Knoxville. He was a truck driver for Moor-mans Feed and Iowa Road Builders, and for the past 15 years, worked for the 3-M Company. He also farmed in Marion County for many years.
Randy enjoyed gardening, farming, and working with his hands.
Randy is survived by his wife, Denise; one daughter, Sarah; two sons, Jonathan and Levi; one step-daughter, Katie Kalvik; his parents, Gene and Marilyn; one brother, Jeff; one sister-in-law, Lori, all of Knoxville; two sisters, Nancy E. Sinnard and Phyllis Wilhelm; one brother-in-law, Fulton Wilhelm, all of Independence, Mo; and many other relatives and friends.
A memorial fund has been established for his children at Horizon Federal Savings Bank in Knoxville.
Arrangements were held at Evans-McCleery Funeral Home.
