Phyllis Jane Robuck was born August 27, 1920, in Knoxville, Iowa the daughter of
Ora W. Robuck and Myrtis (Perry) Robuck. She graduated from Knoxville High School
with the Class of 1937.

Phyllis worked for Hudson Hybrid Corn Company for over 40 years as a bookkeeper and clerk.
She then became the stated clerk for the Des Moines Presbytery for 8 years, retiring in 2000.

Throughout her life, Phyllis was very active in the Presbyterian Church at both the local and state levels.

In her spare time, she enjoyed reading and flower gardening.

She especially enjoyed watching the deer and other wildlife on her acreage outside of Knoxville.

Phyllis passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2011, at the Knoxville Area Community Hospital at the age of 90 years, 4 months, and 30 days.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Virginia Kingrey, and her nephew, Jackie Robuck.

Those left to honor her memory include her brothers, Jerry Robuck of Knoxville and Ora “Jack” Robuck of Indianola, and her sister,

Jeannine DeJong of Knoxville, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
