Phyllis Lorene (Dennison) Blome was born on January 19, 1932 in Knoxville, Iowa to
Robert H. Dennison and Bertrice Orr Dennison.

She received her elementary and high
school education in the Knoxville school system. Following her graduation from high school in 1950, she attended the American Beauty School in Des Moines.

On June 3, 1956 she was united in marriage to Dean Blome in the First Christian Church at Knoxville. This union was blessed with three children – David Dean, Carrie Kay and Ronald Robert.

She entered the eternal life on Sunday, January 27, 1974 at the Iowa Methodist Hospital in Des Moines following her struggle to recover from cranial surgery.

Mourning her passing are her husband Dean, her children, David, Carrie, and Ronald her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Robert Dennison of Knoxville – two sisters, Brenda Mater of Placentia, California and Nancy Stittsworth of Knoxville, Iowa – four brothers,
Melvin of Newton, Bertrand and Eldon of Knoxville and Paul of Mt. Pleasant, Iowa.
She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends.

Phyllis was an active and faithful member of Zion United Church of Christ. Her
service and witness in our midst will be greatly missed.

As she served her Lord
in the church on earth she now has entered the church Triumphant.
