Peter "Butch" Dale Langstraat a resident of Hart, Michigan, died unexpectedly of a heart attack, on Thursday, December 17, 2015.
Peter was born, Dec 18, 1946, the son of Leonard (d.1993) and Lela Langstraat, he graduated in Knoxville, Iowa.
In 1967 he joined the U.S. Army and was a member of the Military 830th Station Hospital/4224th USA Hospital serving his country in Vietnam.
He married Carol Sockriter and they were blessed with two children, Daniel and Joseph (Amanda) Langstraat.
Surviving is his wife Carol, children Daniel, Joseph (Amanda) and siblings: Laurie (John) Kendall, Pat Langstraat, Tom (Carrie) Langstraat, Jim (Hope) Langstraat, Steve Langstraat and Elisabeth (Rick) Gibson.
There will be no services for Peter.
Burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Knoxville, Iowa.
