Mrs. Dirk J. Michmershuizen. Pearl Genevieve (Jones) Michmershuizen, daughter of Edmund and Ella Jones was born in Knoxville. Iowa December 21. 1897 and passed away at the home of her sister, Mrs. W. J. Monster, Knoxville. Iowa.

October 29, 1939, aged 41 years 9 months and 9 days.
She graduated from high school in 1917.

On August
29, 1919, she was united in marriage to Dirk J. Michmershuizen,
in Des Moines, Iowa. To this union three children wore born, Robert age 19: Evelyn Marie 17, and Betty Jane 14.

In her youth Pearl professed Christian faith and united with the Methodist church in Knoxville and remained a steadfast follower unto the last.

For the past fifteen years she has been in poor health. The deceased is survived by three children, three brothers, seven sisters – one brother living in Newton, Iowa: two at Knoxville; one sister in Pleasantville one in Deadwood, South Dakota: one in Colfax, Wisconsin: and four in Knoxville.

Although affliction and trouble went hand in hand with her, through these trying year, she remained the same sweet, lovely woman that it was her fortune to be.

Funeral services were held Wednesday at 2 p. m.. at the
Methodist church, conducted by her pastor, Rev. T. C. Kennedy.

Interment was made in the Graceland cemetery
