Funeral services for Pauline G. (Hedrick) Sadler, 85, of New London, formerly of Pella, who died on Wednesday, September 6, 2000 at Henry County Health Center in Mt. Pleasant, Iowa, were held on Saturday, September 9, at Elliott Chapel in New London. Pastor Matt Miller officiated at the services.

Interment was at Burge Cemetery in New London.

Pauline was born on July 9, 1915 on a farm south of Knoxville, the daughter of Nora E. (Conley) and Francis E. Hedrick. She was a 1932 graduate of Knoxville High School.

She was married to Robert Sadler on November 23, 1935 in Unionville, Mo.

Pauline was a homemaker. She collected antiques, enjoyed sewing and helping people.

Pauline was a member of the New London United Methodist Church. She was also involved in many organizations such as Joy Circle. New London Post 7641 Auxiliary, the Rebeccah
Lodge, was a volunteer with the Hospice Home Health Care of St. Joseph, Mo.. and a member of the RSVP.

Pauline was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons. Leslie and Donald; seven brothers; one sister and one grandson.

She is survived by six sons, John Robert of Burlington, Rex Lee of Mechanicsville, Va., Ronald Hedrick of New London, William P. of Jefferson City, Mo.. Thomas H. Sadler of Commerce Township, Mich. and Timothy James of Pella; two daughters, Nora Jane Green of Cleveland. Tenn. and Mary Sue Escoda of Decatur. Tenn.; 29 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Edith Reed of Marshalltown.

Memorials may be made to the New London United Methodist Church and Myasthenia Gravis.
