Funeral services for Paul Clyde Morgan, 89, of Knoxville, who died Feb. 3 at his
home, were held Tuesday at Bybee & Davis Funeral Home with Rev. Art Hill officiating.
Interment was at Graceland Cemetery.

Morgan was born on Oct. 12, 1915, in Knoxville to Clyde and Esta Core Morgan. He
lived his entire life in Knoxville. He graduated Knoxville High School in, 1933
and worked for the United Food Market for nine years.

He married Grace Hart on Oct. 29, 1939, in Altoona. They had one son. From 1943
– 1951 he worked for the Hawkeye Mill. Then he worked as an on-the-road salesman
for Goff & Nash Auto Parts until he retired in 1987.

He was a 1955 charter member and, later, a lifetime member of the Marion County
Sportsman’s Club. He was also a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church.

Morgan was preceded in death by his wife, his parents, his grandmother and his great-grandmother.

He is survived by his son, Jim Morgan of Des Moines; his brother, Earl and Marguerite
Morgan of rural Knoxville; two granddaughters; nine great-grandchildren and many
other family members and friends.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Central Iowa.
