Funeral services for Paul Chambers, who died April 23 at North Platte, Neb. were
held April 28 from Bybee & Davis funeral home with Rev. J. Roland Crandall officiating.
Burial was in Graceland cemetery. Paullbearers were John Brooks, Howard Kading,
Lyle Langebartels, Lowell Robuck, Clark Robuck and Donald Cox. Mrs. Mary Ellen Hall
was organist.
Paul E., son of William P. and Minnie Chambers, was born April 24,
1905 at Knoxville and graduated here in 1926.
He went to Nebraska the following
summer. He was a member of Center Valley Baptist Church at Flats (Neb.) and had
held several offices in the church.
He was also a member of Arthur Telephone Board
and Fire Department.
Survivors include a niece Mrs. (Dorothy) Ralph Porter of Knoxville.
