Funeral services for Pamela Rae (Horsman) Dawson, 42, of Pleasantville, who died September 24, at her home, were held September 27, 1997, at Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville.

Burial was at Dunreath Cemetery in rural Marion County. Pastor Leo Freel officiated
at the services. Music was provided by Jim Kidder, organist, and Sam Nichols, vocalist.
Pallbearers were Doug Burgess, Dennis Donahue, Kelly Donahue, Mike Donahue, Greg
Evans, Brian Klootwyk, and John Mavin.

Pamela was born September 24, 1955, in Omaha,
Neb., the daughter of George Vernon Horsman and Helen Hope McNulty.

She was a lifelong
resident of Marion County, and graduated from Knoxville High School in 1973. She
graduated from Iowa Barber College and worked as a barber for about four years.
She then worked for 3M Manufacturing in Knoxville for about 19 years.

She was united
in marriage to Earl Dean Dawson on August 22, 1981 in Nashua. The couple made their
home in Knoxville, then moved to the family farm near Pleasantville several years
ago.

She was preceded in death by her father; and grandparents, Ray and Clara Horsman.

She is survived by her mother of Knoxville; her husband; and a sister, Susan Loeb
of La Porte City. Memorials may be made to the Knoxville Humane Society.

were made by Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville.
