Services for Owen Milner Elliott, who died December 13, 1974, at the Orange Memorial Hospital in Orlando, Fla., were held Dec. 18 from the First United Methodist Church with Dr. Leonard E. Deaver and Dr. Merrill D. Summerbell officiating.
Burial was in Graceland Cemetery, Williams Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements;
Casket bears were Earl Bellamy, Dr. George Andrew, Keith Baker, Kenneth Freeman, Dr. Martin Walton, and Amos Jones. Davis Folkerts was organist.
Owen Milner, son of Frank and Gertrude Owens Elliott, was born June 26, 1916, in Knoxville where he attended and graduated Knoxville High School, graduating with the class of 1933.
Owen joined the family shoe business. Elliott's Shoe Store had been in the family since 1911. Owen worked at the store with his brother, Frank. He was a member of the Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
