Funeral services for Nancy Lynn (Harsin) Sinnard, 39, of Knoxville, who died Friday, June
30, 2000, at her home, were held Wednesday, July 5 at the First United Methodist
Church in Knoxville.
Pastor Bob Morris and Rev. Gerald Feulmer officiated at the
service. Geoff Shultz was the organist. Katie Davis was Vocalist and Guitarist.
Interment
was at the Breckenridge Cemetery in Marion County. Casket bearers were Larry Formanek,
Jake Harsin, Dennis Kendrick, Mike Klootwyk, Andy Kraber and Steve Peck.
Nancy was born on May 18, 1961, in Oskaloosa, the daughter of Maxine W. Klootwyk
and Willis Marion Harsin. She was one of three children in the family. The family
lived on a farm east of Knoxville. Nancy graduated from Knoxville High School in
1979.
Nancy was united in marriage to Randy Sinnard on August 23, 1980. To this union,
three children were born. Nancy worked as a billing clerk at the Knoxville Area
Community Hospital and the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in Knoxville.
She enjoyed gardening and making dried flower arrangements. She also liked to camp.
Her greatest pleasure was spending time with her family, children, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Clay. Nancy is survived by her daughter, Sarah
Sinnard of Knoxville; two sons, Jonathan and Levi Sinnard of Knoxville; her parents,
Willis and Maxine Harsin of Knoxville; one brother and sister-in-law, Doug and Nancy
Harsin of Knoxville as well as other relatives and friends.
A memorial fund has been established for her children at Brenton Bank in Knoxville.
Arrangements were made by Williams Funeral Home in Knoxville.
