Funeral services for Michael H. Chambers, 75, of Knoxville, will be Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at 10:30 a.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home, 202 E. Washington St in Knoxville.

Interment will be at the Graceland Cemetery following the service. A luncheon will be held at the Knoxville VFW following the graveside service.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, February 11th from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Pierschbacher Funeral Home in Knoxville. Memorials may be made to the Comfort House in Pella.

Michael H. Chambers was born December 8, 1949, to Harold and Betty Chambers. He grew up in the Knoxville area and graduated from Knoxville High School in 1968.
He then attended AIB in Des Moines until entering the National Guard.

He married Teri Keller on November 30, 1968, and they were blessed with two children: Kristi and Kade.

He had worked for John Deere in Ankeny, the Hy-Vee Store, and Larry’s Sure Fine Foods in Knoxville before starting at Vermeer.
He retired from Vermeer in 2011 as an assembler and parts manager.

Michael loved farming and had started off with Dairy cattle and then raised beef cattle, always making sure his kids and grandchildren were active in 4-H.
He also loved horses and worked with them on the farm growing up. He just loved everything outdoors.

He fished and hunted, and raised bird dogs. Michael enjoyed working with his old tractors and made sure his grandchildren knew how toMike Chambeers
fish, cut wood, work hard, and do it all with a great sense of humor.

When he took time to slow down, he would enjoy watching the Iowa Hawkeyes.

Michael passed away February 7, 2025. He will be greatly missed by his wife, Teri; children: Kristi (Terry Davis) Chambers and Kade (Tina) Chambers; grandchildren: Logan Chambers, Tanner Chambers, Emily (Alex) Adams, Madison Parks, and Bailey Parks; great grandchildren: Ivy, Nora, August, Bentley, and Dalton; along with many friends and relatives.
