While physically able, he enjoyed working on church projects and helping friends and neighbors.Marvin Brooks

In all the places he and Joyce lived, he always had a vegetable garden and usually planted fruit trees and shared the produce with family and friends. In the cold months, Marvin made wood projects. The items were always sanded to the perfect smoothness he required. He also enjoyed photography of family weddings and landscapes.

Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Joyce; his sister, Barbara Petersen; and many nieces and nephews.

Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Clarice, and siblings, Frances Jordan, James Brooks, Benny Brooks, Helen Stevenson, and Bob Brooks.
