Services for Marion Hubert Breuklander, 59, of Knoxville, who died Nov. 29, 1987 at
Knoxville Area Community Hospital, were held Dec. 2 at Bybee and Davis Funeral Home.
Interment was Graceland Cemetery. Rev. K. Wayne Hoehns officiated at the services.
Music was provided by James Kidder, organist. Pallbearers were James Kidder, Richard
and Joe Whitlatch, Robert Pinegar, Jerry Sharp, Tom Tucker, Richard Hixson, and
Paul Stalzer.
Mr. Breuklander was born Oct. 21, 1928 at Pella, the son of John and
Tryntje Oostrum Breuklander. He graduated from Knoxville High School in 1947. In
1952, he was inducted into the Army and served in Korea where he received several
decorations.
He married Bertha Mork. She preceded him in death in 1960.
On Nov. 1, 1969 he married Delores Sharp. Until his retirement in 1982, he was employed
by Rolscreen Company for 15 years as a machine operator. He was a member of Baty
Tucker Post No. 168 American Legion of Knoxville.
Besides his first wife, he was
preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife; one son, John of Forest
City; two grandchildren; one brother, Lawrence of St. Louis, Mo.; and two sisters,
Leona King of Schaller and Joan Kinner of Las Vegas, Nev.
A memorial has been established
to the Disabled American Veterans.
