Marguerite Meda Barnhart-Clinkenbeard was born February 27, 1963 in Chariton, Iowa,
the daughter of Charles Barnhart and Carolyn (White) Stanley.
Sissy attended school
in Grinnell and also Knoxville, graduating with the Knoxville High School class
of 1981. Following graduation Sissy began driving a semi, which she enjoyed very
much. Sissy enjoyed her time on the road and added to her collections of cigarette
lighters and tea pots along her travels.
She was also a big fan of country western
music. Time spent with her children and grandchildren was very special to her.
Sissy
passed away on Tuesday, June 8, 2010 at the Pella Regional Hospital at the age of
47 years, 3 months and 12 days. She was preceded in death by her son, Joshua William
Mallory.
Survivors include her children, Nicole Barnhart of Des Moines, Curtis Null
III (Jonna) of US Navy Oceanside, CA, Cheyenne (Terry) DeVore of Williamson, Dakota
Mallory of Bussey; 9 grandchildren; mother, Carolyn Stanley of Bussey; father, Charles
Barnhart of Chariton; grandmother, Marguerite White of Bussey; siblings, Col. Barton Barnhart (Lt. Col. Alonna) of Alexandria, VA, Casey Barnhart of Chariton, along
with other relatives and many friends.
