Services for Marc Luther DeCamp, 46 of Knoxville, who died of a heart attack Sunday, August 29, 1993, at Knoxville Area Community Hospital.

Services were held at Bybee & Davis Funeral Home in Knoxville. A Masonic service was held by the Belle Fountaine Lodge.

Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery in Knoxville.

Marc was born December 16, 1946, in Des Moines to Ada Janette Holmes (b.1916 – d.1990) and Darrell DeCamp (b.1915 – d.1989).

After Marc graduated from Knoxville High School in 1965, he attended a trade school in Kansas City

He lived most of his life in Knoxville. He retired from Knoxville Veterans Medical Center.

Marc served in the United States Army, Vietnam War, from 1968 to 1973. In 1974, he was married to Beverly Milner.

He is survived by his daughters, Kimberly and JoDee, both of Des Moines.

He was engaged to marry Gwen Bacon of Knoxville.

Marc had a great love of the sprint car races. He had been employed by the Veteran’s Administration and various farm implement companies. He was a member of the Penoch American Legion Post, the Za-Ga-Zig Shrine, Knoxville York Rite Body, and the Belle Fountaine Lodge.
